One On One Support
Lamp Inc aims to promote personal independence, social wellbeing and community inclusion for all consumers. The independent living program provides services to consumers in their own homes, within the general community and at our local support centres.
The Independent Living Program workers provide support to consumers with tasks such as assistance with appointments, shopping, advocacy, living skills, budgeting and liaisons with mental health services. The aim of the support program is to enable consumers to live more independently and with confidence within the community.
Staff members come from a wide range of disciplines and varied qualifications including, sociologists, social psychologists, human resource development, mental health nursing, general nursing, social trainers, book keeping and administration, media and promotions, counsellors, computer and IT trainers, Adult and Tertiary Educators and trainers and qualified community service workers.
Lamp is devoted to constant skill development and training among staff and has been recently awarded a 2010 Employer of the year award, NGO and is the recipient of the 2010 Southern Regions Community Leadership Award.


Referral to Lamp consumer services can be made through the South West Mental Health Services Offices, your GP or Private Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Counsellor or self referal with Lamp Inc by calling 9754 1834.
