Bridgetown Lamp has been a hive of activity.
We’ve got a new programme MI Recovery, which is happening each Thursday, with lots of eager participants travelling from near and far. The garden is blooming and we have harvested tomatoes, squashes, spinach, strawberries and melons - even a few Easter Eggs ... Our pond and waterfall are in!!!!

Well ways ‘building a future’ is a family education program providing individuals and families with the knowledge and information they need to care for their loved ones who suffer from a mental illness.
This is a FREE workshop which begins on the 13th of March at 226 Bussell hwy Busselton. The workshops runs for 8 sessions for 2-3 hours with supper and refreshments provided.

Homeless Counselling Service. This program is available to those with a mental illness, low income and are at risk of becoming homeless.
A referral for a General Practitioner is required to provide six counselling sessions and linkages in support.

As part of Mental Health Week 2011 Room 226, supported by Lamp Inc will be hosting a Youth Community Stress Less event in Mitchell Park on Wednesday the 12th of October, from 10am to 2pm.
We plan to have a youth orientated explosion of creativity and fun for youth and community members to be involved in.
Through the activities available on the day young people will be given the opportunity to express themselves in a positive manner and transfer these tools to release stress into all aspects of their school, home, social and work lives.
